## Spotlight: cloud-init ec2 testing

The cloud-init team has extended their integration tests to allow coverage of the ec2 datasource. This is accomplished via the use of the boto3 python library. Weekly jobs run the tests against supported releases of Ubuntu as well as for proposed testing.

## cloud-init

* Fix cloud-init clean subcommand to unlink symlinks instead of calling del\_dir (LP: #1741093)
* Fixe traceback when attempting to bounce the network after hostname resets on Azure (LP: #1722668)

## curtin

* Moved Launchpad repo from bzr to git

## Bug Work and Triage

* 293 in the [backlog](https://bugs.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-server/+subscribedbugs), 86 bugs reviewed
* [Notes on daily bug triage](https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ServerTeam/KnowledgeBase#Bug_Triage)

## Contact the Ubuntu Server team

* Chat on #ubuntu-server on Freenode
* Email the [ubuntu-server mailing list](https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server)

## Ubuntu Server Packages

Below is a summary of uploads to the development and supported releases. Current status of the Debian to Ubuntu merges is tracked on the [Merge-o-Matic page](https://merges.ubuntu.com/main.html). For a full list of recent merges with change logs please see the Ubuntu Server [report](http://reqorts.qa.ubuntu.com/reports/ubuntu-server/merges.html).

### Proposed Uploads to the Supported Releases

Please consider testing the following by [enabling proposed](https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed), checking packages for update regressions, and making sure to mark affected bugs [verified as fixed](https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#Verification).
